William Findlay "Bud" McComb

McComb, William Findlay “Bud” – Peacefully with family by his side in Chatsworth on Monday, March 14, 2016 in his 94th year. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Anna Marie “Ann” (Hansen), their children Terry, Doug (Lois), and Marilyn. Also survived by his brother Herb (Pat) and by sisters in law Mary Heroux and Margaret McComb. Predeceased by his parents William and Rachel (McKay), sister Laura Loney(Ed) and brother John J. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Brent (Tracey), Chris (Melissa), Melissa McCulloch (Jeff), Tyler (Patti), Derek (Barb), Chub (Kim), Dan (Tara), Angie Underwood(Brendon)..... and 15 great grandchildren and one on the way.

 

Bud was born and raised on the family farm on the 2nd Concession of Holland. He was an avid ball player and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was a very special great grandpa.

 

Family will receive friends at the GARAFRAXA HILL FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, March 16, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service for Bud will be held at the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Chapel Thursday, March 17 at 1:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior, Pastor Michael Henkel officiating. Interment at the Shiloh Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the Funeral Home following interment.
