Memories of Bud McComb

March 15, 2015

From: Wanda Lang (Flooren)
Dear Ann, Terry, Doug and Marilyn, I read with sadness about Bud's passing this morning. This will leave a huge void in your family. I smile when I think of Bud though. He always had something smart to say to me. I remember once, I came into the store and he was sitting there. He asked me, in all seriousness, "Where was the fire yesterday?" I didn't know what he was talking about it but he said that he had been driving home from Chatsworth (and he used to drive so slow - he had a lot to look at), and I guess I had passed him. He figured I must be going to a fire. We laughed. He always had a funny story or something to say. He was a very friendly man who always had time to talk. You all are like that and it is what I love about Williamsford (and still miss!!) God bless Bud and your family. Wanda Lang (Flooren), Richmond, Virginia
