Gord Farrow

Died: November 26, 2015

 

Farrow, Gordon Russell - Life long resident of Sullivan Township, passed away suddenly in Owen Sound, on November 26, 2015 in his 80th year.

 

Gordon is survived by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth (Liz) Farrow, daughters Darlene Farrow (Alastair Baird) of Arnprior, Arden Farrow (Michael Scott) of Blyth , and son Don Farrow (Jennifer Scharman) of Elora. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Emma and Everett Baird, Phaedra Scott, Amelia, Oliver, and Sophia Farrow. He is also survived by his brother Jim Farrow of Owen Sound, and sister in-law Edith Monk (nee Powell) of Port Elgin and by 6 nieces and two nephews. He is predeceased by brother Elvin Farrow and parents Harvey and Ethel (Hammill) Farrow.

 

In addition to his immediate family, his many cousins, friends and neighbours in the area will remember Gord for his distinct laugh, his sense of humour, an innovative approach to all things mechanical, and his passion for flying.

 

Gordon's arrangements are entrusted to Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. Family will receive friends at visitations Sunday November 29 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm and on Monday November 30 7:00-9:00 pm . Funeral Service will be at Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home Tuesday December 1 at 11:00 am. with Rev. Michael Henkel officiating. A lunch will be provided. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
