Sheila Diane Butson
July 7, 1949 - August 7, 2026

The family of Sheila Butson (nee Shute) of Holland Centre, sadly announce her peaceful passing at Chapman House in Owen Sound on Friday, August 7, at age 77. Dear wife of 42 years to Christopher James Butson, and loving mother of April Lynn Butson. Cherished grandma of Ella Rose Hallock. Sheila is survived by her sister Connie Bowden (Donn) and brother Philip Shute. Predeceased by her siblings Anthony Shute (Bonnie), Nancy Krane (Larry), and Sherrill Duff (Charlie), parents Archie and Gloria Shute, and sister-in-law Dawn Shute. Sheila will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends in the community.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth, Ontario. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Patrik Nechala, Dr. Tiffany Tam, Dr. Jean Hudson, Dr. Susan Batten, Earnest From Care Partners, and The Chapman House Staff in Owen Sound, for the outstanding care and comfort extended to Sheila.
