Helen Eileen (Grahlman) Martin

August 2, 1921 - April 30, 2020

Peacefully, and with her daughter and extended family of caregivers by her side at Country Lane in Chatsworth, Helen Eileen Martin (nee McGregor) was welcomed to her forever home on April 30, 2020, at the age of 98. Loving wife of the late Louis Grahlman (deceased 1979) and Harold Martin (deceased 1996). Dear mother of Carol Deering (Mel) of Chatsworth, and Douglas Grahlman (Heather) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandma of Andrea Deering, Sherry Lee Moore and Scott Grahlman (Amy). Proud great-grandma of Hannah, Max, Abigail, Kieran, Cole, and Autumn. Lovingly remembered by Harold's daughters Bonnie, Janet, Elaine, Sueann, and their families, and by many nieces and nephews.  Helen is predeceased by her parents T. Russell and Katie McGregor (nee Robertson), sister Jean McGregor, and her in-laws Sophie Callahan (Charles), Jack Grahlman (Allie), Anne Rhody (Fred), Fred Grahlman (Jean), and Myrtle Callahan (Wes).

Arrangements have been entrusted to GARAFRAXA HILL FUNERAL HOME, Chatsworth. A private family graveside service will be held at the Desboro Cemetery, Pastor Kara McCluskie presiding. If desired, donations to the Country Lane Staff Fund or Owen Sound Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated by the family. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Country Lane Nursing home for their outstanding care and devotion to their mom for the past 11 years.
