Behind Hazels demure quiet and soft spoken exterior was a strong, caring,  courageous women.
Meeting Hazel even for the first time gave you the feeling you made a friend.
She will be truly missed by her family friends and community.

Hazel was referred to me by a common friend to do some sewing for me. When I arrived you welcomed me in and I found in that moment, a comfort and a connection that made me not want to leave. Your presence was a gift from God. I know you you were put on this earth to share your compassion. You had love for sewing and were always willing to help. I will cherish our visits and looked forward to the next one. Now I will have to wait until we meet again. Harvey I know no matter people say today or tomorrow nothing will make you feel comforted in the days ahead. However, you have a large family and many wonderful memories that will Godsend for you. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and for the loss of a woman who had a wonderful gift of love to share. You are in my prayers.

To Linda Ceaser...Our deepest sympathy!  Hazel and I first met when the new Township of Holland municipal office was built about 1980.  We were both part-time co-workers there for many years.  Always enjoyed having quiet talks and catching up on our family lives over the years.  She has left us with many fond memories!
