Our condolences to Dixie's family. Heaven definitely gained an angel! We hope that Dixie is listening to Elvis sing and dancing up a storm. Dixie was an amazing person. When Dixie decided to do something she did it with a true blue noser attitude. She was meticulous in most everything she did or tried to do. She would learn to do things- like knitting and the rest was history. Dixie's knitting was a work of art, as was everything she created. I truly enjoyed my time working with Dixie. Oh the stories Dixie told us, and many great memories shared. Hold your memories close, Dixie created many for all of us to remember.

Kelly and Dwayne, so sorry for your loss. Your mom taught me so much back in the day. Especially how to sew. I made my own business from that. The great adventures we had also. She paid for me to learn how to swim. Her spaghetti sauce was the best. Just an all around fabulous aunt. Wish I would have got out to see her. Love always Kim missed her home made Christmas card this year. Xoxo

Mom, I miss you so much already so many times I thought I should call you or waiting for you to call. I feel like a huge chunk of my heart has been ripped out. There is never enough time to be with the people you love. You have so many people who loved you deeply. I love you so much. You are such a strong brave woman. I don’t know how you did it you have always been there for me and Jesse. I will remember all of the good times that we had there are so many.

When I was just a teen (40 years ago), I worked with Dixie in Housekeeping. She was a spritely young thing, full of energy and fun, not just with the patients, but also her co-workers.
