Remembering 'Butch' Ferneyhough
From: Lloyd La Touche
Today Dec 30, 2025, I was searching for Butch to let him know that my son Terry La Touche died tragically of a drug overdose in Edmonton because Butch would have wanted to know. This was not how I expected to find him. Butch was not only my boss during my tenure at Pall Corporation but also a very trusted friend and mentor. I have many fond memories from our association however I’ll always remember his love and devotion to “family “. This saddens me. We lost a kind and caring man. May he rest in peace and may his memories be a blessing to all who knew Butch. Gone too soon.

My condolences to the Ferneyhough family. I (indirectly) reported to Butch when he was the President of Pall (Canada) Ltd in Mississauga. I remember him for his strong leadership and drive to succeed( to ensure and maintain visibility of Pall Canada to our US counterparts). My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Colette and Family On behalf of all men Butch played with and had coffee with after, We would like to send our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your Family. He was a wonderful and kind man that will be missed. He was a big part of our group and was just an all round great guy. His words he left with us, were moving and showed his unselfishness, kindness and love for a good life. He will be missed by so many. Truly Larry Pevato and the Caledon Hockey Gang.
