It is with great sadness that the family of Jaclynn Elizabeth Parkin (nee Ashworth) announce her peaceful passing at Brightshores Health System- Owen Sound, on November 6, 2026, at the age of 83. Jaclynn is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kenneth Beverly Parkin, and her treasured children: Laurie McCutcheon, Andrew McCutcheon (Cindy), Bryan McCutcheon (Andrea), Kyle Parkin (Maren), and Ryan Parkin. Jaclynn loved her beautiful grandchildren: Brady (Robyn), Holly (Jake), Jacob, Jessica, and Emily (Meg). She is survived by four great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Ron Parkin (Nancy) and sister-in-law Laurie Anne Lichty (Kevin). Jaclynn was predeceased by her parents Jessie Ashworth and John Sprott. She will be missed by many friends and neighbours in the community.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m., with visitation prior to the service commencing at 12:30 p.m. Reverend Phil Sabine officiating. The family would like to thank the CCU team of Brightshores for their care and compassion. If desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Kolapore Church of the Nazarene. A private family inurnment at Creemore Cemetery will follow.
