A great neighbour and farmer will be missed in Austin. The Church bell in Kilsyth will ring a few extra times Sunday morning in his memory.
From: Aaron, Stephanie, and Adam Johnson
From the moment you and Austin became our neighbours when we were kids, you have been valued friends of our family and have done so many good deeds for our grandparents and parents over the years. We know they have all felt lucky to have you both as friends. We will remember Austin as a role model for what it means to be a good neighbour – being exceptionally kind and always willing and eager to lend a hand – and we will carry with us fond memories of card games and get-togethers as we grew up. Wishing you and the entire family our heartfelt condolences. Aaron, Stephanie, and Adam

I am sad to learn about the loss of Uncle Austin. I fondly remember visiting him and Auntie Rita at the farm in Tara & later at their home in Chesley throughout my childhood, as well as their many visits to see my grandmother, where we often crossed paths. He helped me understand the value of the Hunt's history in agriculture. My memories of Uncle Austin are that he was always smiling cheerfully and laughed easily - a true joy to be around. Uncle Austin is a treasured member of our family and will be missed greatly. Sending loving condolences to Auntie Rita, Kim, Dennis, Fran and their families.
