Eldon James "Atch" Atkinson

Atkinson, Eldon James  – Surrounded by his loving family, Eldon “Atch” Atkinson of Chatsworth passed at home on Friday November 2, 2018 at age 86. Atch is survived by his dear wife of 65 years, Alein Atkinson (nee Smith). Loving father of Deborah MacArthur Hergert  (Brian) of Barrie, Jim Atkinson (Debbie) of Chatsworth, and Denise Simpson (Steve) of Owen Sound. Loving grandpa to Kristianna, Trevor, Jason, Cindy, and Samantha, and great-grandpa to Vrindavani, Chanelle, Mya, Benson, Autumn, and Sierra. Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Ella Atkinson (nee Best) and siblings Alma Purdon (John) and Muriel Crowe (Sid).

Visitations will be held at the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth, on Sunday November 4, 2018, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday November 5, at 11:00 am. Pastor Michael Henkel officiating.  Interment at Flesherton Cemetery.
