Georgina 'Jiggs'  Margaret Luke

The family of Georgina 'Jiggs' Margaret Luke (nee Norris) sadly announce her passing at Southbridge Long Term Care in Owen Sound, on Saturday July 22, 2023, at age 91. Beloved wife of 28 years to Roy Luke, who predeceased her in 1978. Loving mother of Dianne Luke (Marilyn Keddy) of Nova Scotia, Cheryl Hibma (Tom Fordham) of Owen Sound, Debbie Elliott (Brad Fritzsch) of Woodford, Gary Luke (Penny) of Owen Sound and Tracee Givens (Mike) of Chatsworth. Proud grammie of Aaron Hibma (Jen), Jaimie Dodgson (Dennis), Kayla Givens-Kingsley (Matt), and Kelsey Huff (Ethan), and doting 'GG' of Josephene, Katelyn, Taran, Jake, Anderson, and Franklin. Lovingly remembered by her niece Linda Smith. Predeceased by her infant son Michael, sisters Kay Cartliage (Herbert), Alice Gilberds (Walter) and parents George and Annie Violet Norris (nee Sylvest).

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm on Tuesday July 25, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service, presided by David Fries. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. If desired, donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter, Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
