Carlo 'Carl' Edward Vassella

It is with great sadness that Joan Marie Vassella shares that her most caring and loving husband of 64 years, Carlo 'Carl' Edward Vassella, passed away at Chapman House in Owen Sound on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, with Joan and a dear friend by his side. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Leona Vassella. Dearly loved brother of six sisters, and he will be always remembered by Joan's relatives and many nieces and nephews.

Carl felt most at home in natural surroundings; a walk through the bush, or by the water with pets, friends, and family, brought him great solace. He loved and protected nature. Carl's Carpentry & Construction are in many buildings throughout Grey, Bruce, and Huron counties. His family, friends, neighbours, co-workers will remember him in many ways.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. If desired, donations to Chapman House or the Renal Patient Assistance Fund of London Health Sciences, would be appreciated by the family. Thanks to all, for the loving and skilful care Carl has received since 2018 for dialysis, at London and Grey Bruce Health Sciences.
