Neeltje Koning

 

January 9, 1934 - March 4, 2022

 

It is with great sadness, that the family of Neeltje Koning (nee Lindenburg) announce her passing at Kelso Villa in Owen Sound, at age 88. She is now reunited with her dear husband of 67 years, Johan, who passed in May of last year. Neeltje is survived by her loving daughters Heleentje White (Michael) of Sydney Australia, Joke Guthrie (James) of Toronto, Henriette Koning of Fonthill, and Erna Steffler (Mike) of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Hannah, Patrick, Lara, Daniel, Emily, and Meghan, and great-grandmother of Lottie. Dear sister of Cees Lindenburg, Joop Lindenburg (Riet), and Henk Lindenburg (Gerja). Predeceased by her much loved daughter Ellie, parents Hendrik Gerardus and Lena Lindenburg (nee Neeleman), sister Lenie Dekker (Henk), and sister-in-law Reinie Lindenburg.
 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A private family funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ted Creen, will be held in the funeral home chapel. Spring interment at McLeans Cemetery, Bognor. If desired, memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Health Services Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
