Morrison, Donald McGregor (Mac)– Former Chatsworth resident Mac Morrison, passed away as the result of a stroke, in Owen Sound on Thursday February 14, 2019, at the age of 75. Sadly missed by his dear spouse of 54 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Morrison (nee Sanderson). Loving father to their children Susan Morrison and Terry Morrison, both of Owen Sound. Dear grandfather of Kalvin Morrison and Logan Morrison and fondly remembered by their mother, Sherra Morrison. Also survived by cousins Roy (Marlene) Morrison and Harold (Joyce) Morrison, and their families of Bruce County, by brothers-in-law Jim (Pat) Sanderson of Owen Sound, Alfred Sanderson of Vancouver, and sister-in-law Patricia Sewell of Collingwood, and their families. Predeceased by his parents William and Alice Morrison (nee McGregor) and brother-in-law Elwood Sewell.

Mac was a life-long truck driver and loved being out on the road. He faced the diagnosis of dementia as a new challenge in his life and embraced all that the Alzheimer Society had to offer. He participated in several workshops and activities, and made many new friends. Rather than mourn the loss of abilities Mac focused on what he could still do. He loved life and was happy to be alive. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday February 23, 2019 at the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth, with a one hour visitation prior to the service.
