Brenda, Lisa, Scott, I was very saddened when I heard the news about Larry passing.  He truly was a pillar in the area.
Can't help but remembering when I first met him in the mid 80's.  It didn't take me long to fit in with the Shallow Lake boys as we tackled surrounding  areas with our Sunworld and then "The Amazing" "Sweathog slo-pitch team.  One thing I always remember was that Larry was always good for at least on home run over the fence per game.  We had a lot of fun over the years and you both as well as Lisa & Scott were a big part of it.  Martha and I send you our condolences at this difficult times.  may memories of him help you along at this time.

From: Randy Brough
When I was a young kid, Larry was just about the coolest guy I'd ever seen.  He drove fast cars & looked to me like Burt Reynolds. But mostly, he was a cool guy who would take the time to smile & chat with a young kid like me. Years later, I moved back to the community & played ball with he and other local guys. He was our pitcher. He hit most of our home runs. But mostly he was the guy that made me feel welcome back in my old community.  I will miss Larry a lot. I looked up to him. His passing makes me very sad. Thoughts to you and your family, Brenda.
