Edward Raymond Vickers

The family of Ed Vickers, formerly of Williamsford, sadly announce his passing at GBHS Owen Sound on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the age of 74. Cherished husband of 53 years to Donna Vickers (nee Fediuk). Loving father of Rachael Comes (Gian) of Toronto and Ray Vickers (Allison) of Markham. Proud “Papa” of Robyn, Ocean, Christopher, and Colby, and “Grandpa” to Mykola and Jacobi. Great-Grandfather of Landen, Seth, Taya, Ben, Harmony, and Avery. Ed is also survived by his siblings Elizabeth “Judy” Ius (Art), Linda Murray (Eddie) and Richard "Rick" Vickers (Brenda). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Pauline, son Christopher, and parents Stanley and Ethel Vickers (nee Badder).

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home chapel, from 1:00 – 4:00pm on Friday, October 6, 2023. Moments of remembrance will commence at 1:00pm and will be followed by lunch and refreshments. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
