Kuhl, Sylvia May - In Owen Sound, on Friday December 11, 2015 in her 90th  year. Daughter of the late John and Laura Lang. Wife of 68 years to George William Kuhl of Desboro. Beloved mother of Linda Mae (Jim) Hamill of Meaford, Lloyd (Catherine) Kuhl of Keady, and Irma Kuhl (Gamble) (Al Speirs) of Chatsworth. Also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three sisters-in-law Shirley Lang, Alma Lang, and Cathy Kuhl, all of Desboro. Predeceased by three brothers, Gordon (Pearl), Armond and Hilton Lang; in-laws Harold (Alvena), Otto (Luella), Viola (Ernie) Tompkins, Ernie (Gertrude) Kuhl, Alvin (Fran), Mary (Gordon) Garvie, Gordon Kuhl, and by two great grand-children.

Sylvia was an active member of her church and will be fondly remembered as a teacher in Sullivan one-room schools and the Sullivan Central School.

Sylvia’s arrangements are entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. Family will receive friends at visitations Sunday, December 13 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at Faith Lutheran Church, Desboro on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm following a one hour visitation at the church with Pastor Brian Dunlop officiating.
