Remembering Donna MacKinnon

From: Barb & Steve Schuknecht
O my! We did not hear about Donna's passing until today when we saw Elsie McKinnon in Brucelea Haven,Walkerton.
We are so sorry to learn of these losses. Our condolences to the family on loss of your dad, now, too.
We knew Donna from lawn bowling when she came over to Chesley every week to bowl in our League.  When Linda Gamble passed, we did not see Donna much any more.  Donna was such a faithful lawn bowler and always ready to help out at any of the events.
On behalf of the Chesley Lawn Bowling Club, our sincere sympathies.
Steve & Barb Schuknecht

So sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. I curled with her for many years in both Hanover and Owen Sound. She was a formidable skip and an enthusiastic team mate. We were pleased to win in Mount Forest in 1992 dressed as cows! My thoughts are with all her family

Dear MacKinnon family, I'm sorry I cannot come to Donna's funeral in person. I remember her as a delightful person with a big smile and a big heart. The last time I saw her was at our parents' 80th birthday party. It was very kind of her and Don to make the long trip. My thoughts are with your family. Sheila Cook (Rob and Cokey's daughter)

From: John Dickson
My sincere condolences to Donna's family. I knew her through servicing office equipment where she worked, including the Wiarton Hospital and at the church office. in Chatsworth. She was always friendly and professional. Please know my thoughts are with you. John Dickson
