Oh Jean, I'm so sorry you lost Alvin; such a sweet heart of a man. I have such fond memories of staying with aunt Grace and the two of you would come around and it would light up our lives ( Lois and me) . In our early tweens we thought how lucky you were to be with such an electrifying man. Always proud to be his cousin . I'll see you tomorrow.
From: Donalda Fisher
Jean and family: my sincere condolences on the passing of Alvin. What a beautiful write up you have done on the obituary. If someone did not know Alvin before they read it, they would feel they knew him after. Hugs to you all.
From: Angelina
Dear Stranks family, what a beautiful gift the Lord gave you in your humble, humourous, loving husband and father. May our Lord surround you all this week when you lay his body to rest in hope of that great Day And for the days ahead of quiet remembering. In his love, Angelina

We had fun times when we would go to the Beirnes reunions and I stayed at his family farm when I was around 7 - he was always laughing and playing jokes! I will cherish the memories!
