Remembering Alf Nelson

From: Aunt Styn Furness
My sincere condolences to Fran and family, in the passing of Alf.
A long struggle with many health issues but now rest in peace.
Fran,  you have been in my thoughts and prayers.    Aunt Styn

Since moving back to Owen Sound, we reconnected during our drives to your dialysis appointments, during the beginning of the pandemic, and shared some memories of growing up in Leith. In the past years many other health issues arose and not once did you complain. How many times you rallied around, usually with that quirky grin. Fran will be taking you home. In heaven our parents are there to greet you. Sending love from your older sister, Linda

To Fran, and all the siblings on both sides Monday was a sad day for all of us, we lost a dear brother, husband and friend. His pain is gone and what a fighter, he tricked all of us so many times that we thought he wouldn't make it and he would just bounce back and carry on. He will be sadly missed by all the lives he touched. RIP Alfred dear brother
