With great sadness, the family of Elizabeth (Liz, Betty) Morrison (nee Sanderson) announce her passing at Brightshores Owen Sound, on Sunday February 23, 2025, at the age of 81. She is now reunited with her devoted husband Mac (Donald McGregor) Morrison, who predeceased her in 2019. She will be deeply missed by her loving children Susan Morrison and Terry Morrison, and by her deeply beloved grandsons Kalvin and Logan Morrison, all of Owen Sound. Elizabeth is also survived by her brothers Alf (Sophie), Jim (her dear sister-in-law Patricia), Bill, and Mike Sanderson. She will also be fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Sherra Westerveld, close cousins Roy (Marlene) and Harold (Joyce) Morrison, and by her dear cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends in the community. Elizabeth was predeceased by her siblings Patricia Sewell (Elwood) and Thomas Sanderson, niece Sandy Daley, father Thomas Sanderson, mother June Robison, and mother in law, Alice Isobel Morrison (McGregor)

 

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 18 at Coffin Ridge Winery, Annan, from 1:00 - 4:00pm. Interment at Pleasant View Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
