Allan Douglas 'Doug' Ratcliffe

With great sadness, the family of Doug Ratcliffe of Markdale, announce his passing at GBHS Owen Sound, on Saturday April 15, 2023, at age 76. Loving husband of 56 years to Marilyn Isobel Ratcliffe (nee Dixon). Proud father of Shelley Lynn Ratcliffe Gray (Warren) of Barrie, and Tracey Liann Waterman (Shaun) of Waterdown. Cherished Papa of Brandon Douglas and Jordan Taylor Cesarone, and Riah Grace and Sawyer Quinn Waterman. Doug is also survived by his siblings Ken Ratcliffe (Anna), Linda Rice (Ken), Lyall Ratcliffe (Bonnie), and Don Ratcliffe (Jen). Fondly remembered by his in-laws Karline Rhodes, Claire Horan, and Richard Dixon (Sherri) and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mac and Marie Ratcliffe (nee Boyd) and brothers-in-law Ron Rhodes and Terry Horan.

Cremation has taken place, and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday April 22, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00pm. Immediately following the visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will commence at 4:00pm, officiated by the Reverend Jeff Kischak.
