Gordon Wesley Wright

 

January 20, 1964 –  June 11, 2022

The family of former Chatsworth resident, Gord Wright, sadly announce his passing in Markdale on Saturday June 11, 2022, at age 58. Father of Jackie, and devoted son of Harry Wright (Lauretta) of Hanover and Marilyn Campbell of London. Brother of Margaret Wright, Sharon LaPointe (Mark), Terry McDonald (Sherril), Kathie Crawford-Reid (Mike), and Douglas Crawford (Shelly). Brother-in-law of Tibby Lacottus and Gregory Wetlaufer. Predeceased by his siblings Tammy Lacottus and Wendy Wetlaufer. Fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Gord was an avid outdoorsman and will be missed by his hunt club friends, and extended families at the Chatsworth Fire Department and Markdale Home Hardware.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth, and a funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel, on Thursday June 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm, Pastor Dar Rath presiding. Interment to follow at Markdale Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
