From: Mark & Marilyn Rushton
Dear Doris & family; I was so very sorry to just now (Wed. May 22nd) learn that your beloved Maurice had passed away. I have no doubt how very much you will miss him. My family and I have many wonderful memories of both of you, your love of the land, your care for and service to the Walters Falls community and your very dear and valued friendship and support of my parents, your neighbors, the late Charles and Beulah Rushton. May you be blessed with the gift of many wonderful memories to sustain you in the coming days. I am so sorry I missed being able to attend and bring our condolences and show our respects and support to you personally, Doris. When I think of you and Maurice, I think of your beautiful gardens and now, Doris, I am reminded of the words to that wonderful old hymn, "In the Bulb There Is A Flower" - ". . . In our end is our beginning, in our time, infinity, in our doubt there is believing, in our life, eternity. In our death, a resurrection, at the last a victory, unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see." With much love and our deepest condolences, Mark, Marilyn and the family of the late Charles and Beulah Rushton

Dear Doris and all the Breadner family. I can never express how much of an impact your family has had in my life. You both helped me in my High School years at a difficult age and time opening your home to me and are the most beautiful people, loving and caring. I was very saddened to hear the passing of Maurice and both Sarah and I are sending lots of love and condolences to the family in this difficult time.

Dear Doris and Family - Your care of, and for Maurice helped him immeasurably as he coped with his very difficult health issues and we hope that will give you some peace now. We will never forget your kindness in coming to visit Ron when he was struggling with his illness and we can't say enough about how he looked forward to them and to hearing about how the sales were in Keady and how the neighbours' crops were doing. You are good people and we are very sorry for the sadness you are experiencing now. Sincerely yours, Ron and Connie
