Memories of Karen Donnelly

From: Norah-Marie Edwards

It saddens my heart, to know that such a wonderful person, has left us. Karen was a kind hearted woman, who would have done anything, for those she loved. Her warm smile, beautiful laugh and friendly personality, made her a joy to be around. My deepest sympathies, to her family. Karen will be deeply missed.

Sympathy to the family

My deepest condolences to Dave and Karen's family.  Karen was truly one of the most generous people I've ever known.  I'll never forget the help we received in the way of baby needs when Laura was born.  Her "sailing" was truly a blessing to our family.  Never mind the countless clothes she provided to me.  What I most appreciated about Karen was that she always tried to relate to whomever she was speaking to. Whether it be little children or the elderly, Karen tried to find a common ground and always threw in a bit of her humour to keep things light. The kids were always very comfortable with Karen and "got" her jokes.   She truly had a heart of gold; always others in her mind when saw trinkets and other useful items.   In spite of her own health, Karen was always ready to lend a helping hand - a real go getter.  She clearly liked to get things done.  The way Karen loved and cared for Dave is truly a great testimony to her general character.  Our family will surely miss her.

I want to express my deepest condolences to my brother in law Dave  on the loss of his life partner Karen.

I have had the privilege and blessings of sharing many moments with both Karen and Dave.
May the sad space in your heart slowly fill with joy when thinking of her often.
