The memories of Thomas are ones of a lovely, kind man, who was very proud of his Family, and was always eager to share stories about them. His most recent happiest moment was the arrival of his Great Granddaughter, LilyBeth. I will miss his wool sweater that I would feel when we shared a heartfelt hug, and his bellow in the store asking for me...his Laura Ingalls. He loved Little House on the Prairie and relaxing while watching the episodes with his family. Thank you Thomas, you have blessed us with many happy memories...for this you'll live on and on.

Nagy szomorusaggal ertesultunk Tamas elhunytarol. Kozel otven eve volt, hogy megalapitottak felesegevel Erzsikevel a Torontoi Arany Janos Magyar Iskolat ami azota is eletben van lelkes fiatal szulokkel tavol az ohazatol. Ebben az iskolai kozossegben baratsagok, kapcsolatok szovodtek melynek mi is  reszesei vagyunk itt az idegenben. Azt, hogy Kanadaban szuletett Andreank fontosnak tartja tovabb adni a magyar nyelvet es kulturat az o gyerekeinek is Erzsikenek es Tamsanak koszonhetjuk. Kituno mernok volt, tudasat es tapasztalatait mindig megosztotta masokkal. Mindenkinek segitett kornyezeteben. Emleked megorizzuk! Nyugodjal bekeben most mar szeretett felesegeddel Erzsikevel egyutt! Domonkos Jolan es Laszlo

Az Arany János Hétvégi Magyar Iskola a torontói Kanadai Magyar Kultúrközpontban működő Családi Körből alapult meg 1975-ben Balogh Tamás és felesége, Erzsike vezetésével. Hálás köszönetünk, Balogh Tamásnak és feleségének, hogy szívükön viselték a torontói magyar gyermekek nevelését, magyar kultúrájuk gazdagítását. Munkásságukat nem felejtjük el. Balogh Tamás még most az elmúlt pár évben is támogatta iskolánkat. Nagy ember volt. Isten nyugtassa békességben.
