Surrounded by his loved ones, Brian Donaghey passed at Chapman House in Owen Sound, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the age of 82. He is survived by the love of his life, Josephine Donaghey (nee Wright), and his children Jane Donaghey (Paul Mutter) of Lucan, Debbie Donaghey (Don Rosso) of London, Tim Donaghey of Belleville, Leah Donaghey (Bobby Doroslovac) of Kitchener, Sarah Donaghey (Mitch Cadotte) of Ottawa and daughter-in-law Debbie Donaghey of Wiarton. Proud grandfather of twenty grandchildren. Loving brother of Jean Peacock, Susie Williams and Steve Black (Fran). He is predeceased by his son Steven Donaghey, parents Joseph Hall and Margaret Helen Donaghey (nee Watson), brothers-in-law Hugh Peacock and Sid Williams. Fondly remembered by his loving step-daughters, many nieces, nephews and neighbours.

 

Brian was a well known member of the Grey-Bruce community, as owner and operator of Creative Blinds for over 40 years. Among his many interests and talents, he was an accomplished builder and farmer. With a mind and strength like no other, Brian was a remarkable man and will be loved, cherished and truly missed.

Cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date.
