Our deepest sympathy We remember the good times we all shared in our younger days. There are times life takes us down another road and in another direction. We will never forget those times that we shared with the Walker family. Yes, Eleanor, you truly were a great cook and had a great sense of humour. We will pray for you Bev, Jana, and Jeff

Our lives crossed paths with Harold and Ruth more than with Eleanor and Bev. But we remember Eleanor very fondly. She always had a smile and tons of enthusiasm. We regret we are not able to express our condolences in person. She will be missed.

It was a pleasure working with Ellie for many years at Social Services. She was so hard-working and energetic! Her love for her family was obvious...my sincerest sympathies to you all, as I'm sure her absence will be felt deeply. Wishing you strength and peace during this very difficult time

Dear Jana, Jeff, and Bev, I'm sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. I have fond memories growing up on Hughson Drive, playing in the pool, her amazing vegetable garden - Eleanor was always inviting, strong and kind. She even drove us to school! Please accept my sympathies for your loss. Roger

What a beautiful picture of Eleanor--just as vibrant as her personality. As a child I (June) have many fond memories of visiting the Martin family home and we sure looked forward to the fun times we had together. In later years I purchased one of the dolls she made as it reminds me of those fond memories. I felt so fortunate to have a nice little visit with her when visiting Owen Sound a year ago in May. She always had a ready smile and a positive outlook on life. May the love of friends and family and the many fond memories you hold sustain you now and in the months ahead. We wish we could be there in person but want you to know you will be very much in our thoughts and prayers. June and Frank Benedict Abbotsford, B.C

We are so sorry to hear of Eleanor's passing. She will be greatly missed in the Williams Lake community. We could set our watch by her when she walked Missy in the morning and we will miss chatting with her as she went by our dock in her kayak and seeing her at the helm of her boat taking her grandchildren water skiiing and tubing! She was a truly beautiful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time

We send you our sympathy. You were privileged to have a wonderful wife and mother. Eleanor was always special to my parents Fred and Minnie Ahrens. My dad and I built the cottage at Williams Lake which was your family home for many years. When we decided to sell, Eleanor and Bev were first on the list. We know your family had many happy years at the Lake and we have fond memories as well. Our close connection includes our daughter Lisa being the flower girl at Bev and Eleanor's wedding. We wish we could be there to give you all a hug but we have guests arriving from Grand Rapids Michigan. Perhaps we will see some of you when we visit Owen Sound in September.

Message Hi Bev and family. I am so sorry about your loss of Eleanor. I remember her as a very friendly and caring person. My best memory is about when we were both at the Lake when she taught me how to use a Kayak. I remember seeing her skimming over the Lake in her kayak most days when I was there. I am very sorry that I cannot join you for Eleanor's funeral. I have rented a three bedroom house in Niagara Falls to celebrate my 75th birthday with my daughters, Patricia and Carole. We have appointments which cannot be changed. Once again, I want to offer my sincere sympathy to you and your family. I know that Eleanor will be missed, not only by her family but by all of your friends at the Lake too. Doreen Koenig
