The family of Dale Mitchell, (nee Hammill) formerly of Williamsford, sadly announce her passing on Sunday November 5, 2023, at Rockwood Terrace, Durham, at age 69. Cherished wife of 50 years to Glen Mitchell who predeceased her in January this year. Loving mother of Terry William Mitchell (Betty Jo), Holly Diana Mitchell (Jeremy Shoemaker) both of Williamsford, and Ocean Hiltz (Brock) of Owen Sound. Doting grandma of Cody (Robyn), Jordan (Nick), Harmony, Nataleigh, Kaydence, Kiera, Harmony, Avery, Isaiah, Kase, Saint, Kallem, and Kanter. Proud great-grandma of Huntleigh, Astrid, and Willow. Sister of Mary Specht, Tonia Routenburg, Sandy Blandford, Jill and Jody Coture. Fondly remembered by in-laws Steven Kirk, Glenda Graham, and Debbie MacLeod (Ross) and by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her son Christopher, siblings Mike Hammill, Rusty Hammill (Sandy), Tracy Kirk, parents Lorne Hammill and Gerry Coture (nee Johnson) and in-laws Stanley and Evelyn Mitchell (nee Miskie), Kim Mitchell, Ernie Routenburg, and Donald Specht.
 

Cremation has taken place and arrangements entrusted to the Garafraxa Hill Funeral Home, Chatsworth. A Celebration of Life, officiated by Father Ed Wagner, will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Saturday November 11, from 1:00 – 4:00pm. Moments of remembrance will commence at 1:30pm, followed by light refreshments. If desired, donations to Rockwood Terrace Residents Fund would be appreciated by the family.
